LO LO LO LO.....Has been very quiet, to give you love has been very quiet, you say you love like a cloud, to float freely until beautiful...nearly die from aneurysms 'cause they make me even more furious. And I'm a motormouth Korean!
I hope that Mr. Hong was shaken up enough to feel embarrassed, but I doubt it. -_-;;; Sorry you had to waste your time.

I own a large "batik" which is dated 1967.
The colors are golds, orange and dark brown with a modern art pattern (large tear drop looking objects). The border around the batik reads:
Maija Isola "Albatrossi" Marimekko OY Suomi Finland 1967.
It has a slight water stain on it and I am afraid to wash it. Can anyone help me know what to do? I do not want to ruin it. Is this batik of any value? I almost gave it away to Goodwill.
Thank you

I am looking to buy a panel of Isola's Strawberry Mountains fabric. Does anyone know where I can find some? I have looked on ebay and googled lots of vintage sites but can't seem to find any. I know it was still around a few years back. Help, please!

Citated from Marimekko : fabrics fashion architecture ed. Maarianne Aav 2003,p 61: "Maija Isola enthusiastically followed young people's taste..two of her patterns made specific allusions to songs by the Beatles ..the "trippy" imagery and heightened coloring of the period are conspicuous in Mansikkavuoret (strawberry hills, 1969), which features giant red strawberries floating in the sky - overt references to the Beatles' "Strawberry Fields"
